On Saturday, May 2, 2026, the ladies of Twistin’ Sisterz proudly celebrated the 20th Anniversary of International Female Ride Day (IFRD). Although Mother Nature had other plans and rainy weather kept motorcycles parked for the day, that did not stop the sisterhood from coming together to celebrate.
Instead of arriving on two wheels, the ladies rolled in on four wheels and gathered for lunch, laughter, and fellowship proving that International Female Ride Day is about much more than just the ride itself. It is about the bond between women riders, supporting one another, and celebrating the motorcycle lifestyle together.

For the past six years, Twistin’ Sisterz has organized an annual International Female Ride Day celebration. This year’s weather may have changed the transportation plans, but it certainly did not change the spirit of the event.
International Female Ride Day is recognized globally as a celebration encouraging women riders to “Just Ride.” While motorcycles may not have hit the road this year, the day still reflected exactly what IFRD stands for: unity, confidence, empowerment, and community among women riders.

Twistin’ Sisterz would like to thank everyone who came out and celebrated despite the weather. Rain may have changed the plans, but it did not dampen the spirit of the day.
We are already looking forward to next year’s International Female Ride Day and hoping for sunshine, motorcycles, and many more miles together.
